Meet Our Director and Co-Founder

Chell Da Silva Willis
Director & Co-Founder

Chell is an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist, a Mental Health First Aider and a qualified English teacher (including pastoral leadership) with well over a decade of experience educating and supporting young people across the South West and Merseyside. She is also a young widow.

Chell works full-time as Programme Manager for Transform Lives Company (TLC) in Liverpool, delivering a wellbeing and employability programme for participants who are currently out of work and in need of some ‘TLC’. TLC is also a Kickstart Gateway, and Chell works closely with young people, mentoring them alongside their Kickstart jobs and delivering training and support, as well as working in collaboration with Job Centres and Kickstart employers. TLC has now joined forces with Elephants & Empathy and are starting this new partnership with their delivery of the new ‘Grief in the Workplace’ workshops.

Chell is passionate about being part of the movement to open up and promote the dialogue around loss, grief and bereavement, having personally witnessed the stark gap in what we think we already know and what we actually know. Chell also works privately as a certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist; referrals can be made through Elephants & Empathy CIC.
